
COMPANY PAYSLIP MESSAGES
These are the SDWorx-Pay company payslip message items:

COMPANY DATA PAYROLL ITEMS
| COMPANY PAYSLIP MESSAGE HEADER | Y960 |
Use Y960 to specify the frequency of the company message that is to appear on all payslips.
Format
nn, or P or D
Where nn is the number of pay runs (from 1 to 99) for which the message is to be printed, P specifies that the message is to be printed every pay-cycle, and D that the existing message is to be deleted.
Example
SDWorx-Pay prints the company message on employee payslips each pay-cycle, until you specify otherwise:

Note:
- Enter D against Y960 to remove a message (even after it has been displayed for the specified number of pay-cycles).
- Use Company payslip message lines 1 and 2, parts 1 and 2/Y961 – Y964 to specify the company message.
- The company message is shown in addition to any message specified at paygroup level
(see Paygroup payslip message header/Y980), or at employee level (see Employee payslip message header/E990).
- SDWorx-Pay validates and reports company level messages on the Input Error Report and Amendment Report

Use Y961 – Y964 to specify the company message to be printed on every payslip.
Format
- Line 1 part 1: up to 35 alphanumeric characters.
- Line 1 part 2: with the length of line 1, part 1, no more than 64 alphanumeric characters).
- Line 2 part 1: up to 35 alphanumeric characters.
- Line 2 part 2: with the length of line 2, part 1, no more than 64 alphanumeric characters).
Example
Y961 Company annual holiday (line 1, part 1)
Y962 shutdown next month (line 1, part 2)
Y963 See you all again on (line 2, part 1)
Y964 1st August 2021 (line 2, part 2)
This would cause the following to be printed on the payslip:
Company annual holiday shutdown next month

Use Y980 to specify the frequency of the paygroup message to be printed on the payslips of all employees who are members of the paygroup.

Use E990 to specify the frequency of the message that is to appear on the individual employee’s payslip.
Format

Where nn is the number of pay runs (from 1 to 99) for which the message is to be printed, P specifies that the message is to be printed every payrun, and D that the existing message is to be deleted.

The message that is to appear on this employee’s payslip is to be printed for the next 24 pay runs:

Note:
• The number of pay periods specified relates to the number of times payslips are produced. For example, if you specify 3 pay periods and the company has 2 holiday periods when no payslips are produced, the message will appear for the next 2 pay runs after the holiday has completed.

- SDWorx-Pay validates and displays employee level messages on Input Error and Amendments.
