Changes to Income Tax Bands in the 2022-23 Scottish Budget have been announced – currently in draft form.
There have been no changes to the rates, and only minimal changes to the bands. The Starter and Basic bands rose with inflation, whilst Higher and Top bands have been frozen – effectively leading to a higher proportion of people likely to fall into these bands.
